Notifications

Configure how AskGPT notifies you about new leads, support tickets, and system events.

Email notifications

AskGPT sends email notifications for key events. Notifications go to the account owner's email address by default.

  • Chatbot build complete — when crawling and indexing finishes
  • New lead captured — when a visitor submits contact details
  • New complaint ticket — when a conversation is auto-flagged for support
  • Credit balance low — when balance drops below 100 credits
  • Account overdrawn — when credits go below zero

Push notifications

Enable browser push notifications to get real-time alerts — even when the dashboard tab is closed.

  • Click 'Enable notifications' in your dashboard Settings
  • Approve the browser permission prompt
  • Receive instant alerts for new leads captured
  • Receive alerts when new customer complaints are auto-flagged
  • Receive warnings if account credits fall below 100

Per-chatbot notification settings

You can control lead notification emails per chatbot from the chatbot's Settings tab. Useful if you manage chatbots for multiple clients and want to route notifications separately.

  • Go to chatbot → Settings → Notifications
  • Enable or disable lead notifications for that chatbot
  • Add an external notification email for client delivery
